Spring Point is a regulated UK introductory agency based in Blackheath, London — matching individuals and families with thoroughly vetted, compassionate non-medical support workers who fit their lives, not just their care plans.
Spring Point is not a traditional care agency. We are a regulated UK introductory agency — a model that puts you, the client, firmly in control of your own care arrangement.
Our role is to source, vet, and introduce the right support worker to you. Once that introduction is made and a match is agreed, you arrange the work directly — setting the hours, the tasks, the rate, and the relationship on your own terms.
This gives you the flexibility, continuity, and personal connection that traditional agency models rarely offer — combined with the rigorous safeguarding standards that families rightly expect.
Under the Care Act 2014, introductory agencies do not manage care workers — we introduce them. This means you, as the client, employ or directly engage your support worker. You benefit from lower costs, greater continuity, and a relationship built entirely on trust.
"To enhance quality of life by providing reliable, dignified and personalised support that fosters independence and community connection."
Spring Point grew from a simple but powerful conviction: that older adults and people needing support deserve something more than an agency sending a stranger — they deserve a thoughtful introduction to someone who genuinely fits their life.
Spring Point was founded in Blackheath with a clear purpose: to fix the mismatch between people needing support and the care workers available to provide it — starting with thoughtful, personal introductions.
We developed our comprehensive screening process — Enhanced DBS, reference verification, skills assessment, and personal interviews — setting the standard every support worker must meet before joining our register.
Responding to client needs, we extended our matching capability to cover companionship, day and night sits, domestic tasks, shopping and errands, and community and travel escorting.
Today Spring Point has introduced over 500 families to support workers who have become trusted, consistent presences in their daily lives — and we are still growing.
"We started Spring Point because we kept hearing the same story — families struggling to find consistent, trustworthy support for someone they loved. The system was impersonal, the workers changed constantly, and nobody felt truly heard. We built this agency to do it differently: with care, with rigour, and with genuine human connection at the centre of everything we do."
From our base at 114 Blackheath Road, London SE10, we serve Greenwich, Lewisham, and the wider South East London community — the area we call home.
There are many care providers in London. Spring Point is different — not because of what we claim, but because of how we work. Our introductory model, rigorous matching, and genuine relationships produce outcomes that agency-managed care simply cannot replicate.
We never pick from a rota. Every introduction is made after careful consideration of personality, interests, communication style, and care requirements — finding a worker who is right for you.
Enhanced DBS checks, professional and personal reference verification, competency assessment, and a face-to-face interview — every worker clears all four before we introduce them to anyone.
Our introductory model removes the agency mark-up from every hour of care delivered. You pay your support worker directly at an agreed rate — transparent, fair, and yours to negotiate.
Continuity is not a luxury — it's essential to good non-medical support. Our model means the same person, reliably, building real trust over time — not a different face every visit.
You set the hours, the tasks, the rate, and the boundaries. Our role is to introduce and support — not to manage or dictate. True self-directed care, with professional backing.
Our team at 114 Blackheath Road is reachable by phone and email, six days a week. We're not a call centre — when you ring, you speak to someone who knows your case.
Our four-step process is designed to be unhurried, thorough, and entirely focused on finding the right fit — not the fastest fill.
We listen first. Tell us who needs support, what kind of help matters most, what routines look like, and what sort of person would be a good fit. No forms, no pressure.
We search our register of vetted support workers to identify individuals whose background, skills, availability, and personality match what you've described. Quality over speed, always.
We introduce you to the proposed worker — providing their full profile and DBS certificate — and arrange a meeting before any commitment is made. If it doesn't feel right, we find another match.
Once you agree, you arrange the work directly. We check in to ensure all is well and remain available if circumstances change, the arrangement needs adjusting, or you need a new introduction.
Every introduction can cover one or more of the following support types — tailored entirely to your needs.
Genuine conversation, shared activities, and meaningful social connection — addressing isolation and improving emotional wellbeing.
Flexible supervision and reassurance during the day or overnight — providing continuity and peace of mind for clients and families.
Light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and home organisation — maintaining a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment.
Accompanied or independent trips to shops, pharmacies, post offices, and banks — preserving independence in daily life.
Accompanied access to appointments, social activities, places of worship, community events, and longer travel — staying connected to the world.
"To enhance quality of life by providing reliable, dignified and personalised support that fosters independence and community connection."
Spring Point is not a national call centre. We are a community-based agency, operating from our Blackheath office and serving clients across Greenwich, Lewisham, and surrounding boroughs.
That local focus means our team understands the community, the transport links, the local amenities, and — most importantly — the people. When we introduce a support worker to a client, we are connecting two members of the same community.
